EternaTrust SMS Campaign Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: January 29, 2025

These SMS Campaign Terms and Conditions govern the customer-care text messaging program operated by EternaTrust Insurance Group LLC (“EternaTrust,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

1Program Description

The EternaTrust SMS program is intended for existing policyholders who voluntarily consent to receive non-promotional customer-service text messages regarding their existing insurance policies.

Messages may include:

  • Upcoming premium withdrawal reminders;
  • Scheduled payment date notifications;
  • Payment processing or payment status updates;
  • Policy servicing notices;
  • Requests to contact customer service;
  • Administrative policy updates; and
  • Important changes affecting an existing policy.

This SMS campaign is not used for cold outreach, lead generation, telemarketing, advertising, promotional offers, or cross-selling.

2Consent to Receive Messages

Customers may enroll by providing clear verbal consent during a recorded telephone call with an authorized EternaTrust representative.

Before requesting consent, the representative will identify EternaTrust and explain:

  • The types of customer-service messages the customer may receive;
  • That message frequency varies;
  • That message and data rates may apply;
  • That consent is not a condition of purchasing insurance;
  • That the customer may reply STOP to unsubscribe; and
  • That the customer may reply HELP for assistance.

The customer must provide a clear affirmative response before being enrolled. Customers who decline will not receive campaign messages.

SMS consent is voluntary, applies only to this EternaTrust customer-care campaign, and is not transferable to another company, campaign, or purpose.

By consenting, you confirm that you are the subscriber or authorized user of the mobile number provided and authorize EternaTrust and its messaging service providers to send recurring customer-care text messages to that number, including messages sent using automated technology.

3Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on your premium schedule, policy activity, payment status, and customer-service needs.

Customers will typically receive between one and four messages per month. Additional messages may be sent when reasonably necessary to address an important policy update, respond to a customer request, or provide customer-service assistance.

4Charges

EternaTrust does not charge a separate fee to participate in the SMS program. However, message and data rates may apply according to your wireless carrier and mobile service plan.

Contact your wireless carrier for information about your plan.

5Opting Out

You may stop receiving text messages at any time by replying:

STOP

After you submit an opt-out request, you may receive one final text message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. After that confirmation, EternaTrust will not send additional messages through this campaign unless you provide new consent.

Opting out of text messages will not cancel, change, or otherwise affect your insurance policy. EternaTrust may continue communicating with you through other lawful methods when necessary to service your policy.

7Privacy

Information collected through the SMS program will be handled according to the EternaTrust SMS Campaign Privacy Policy, available at: [INSERT SMS PRIVACY POLICY URL]

Mobile telephone numbers, SMS consent records, and opt-in information will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Information may be provided to vendors that help EternaTrust operate the messaging program, including telecommunications, messaging, technology, compliance, and customer-service providers. Such providers may use the information only to provide services on behalf of EternaTrust.

8Mobile Number Responsibilities

You represent that the mobile number you provide belongs to you or that you are authorized to receive messages at that number.

You agree to notify EternaTrust promptly if you:

  • Change your mobile number;
  • Cancel your mobile service;
  • Transfer or reassign your number; or
  • Are no longer the authorized user of the number.

EternaTrust is not responsible for messages received by another person because you failed to notify us that your number was changed, transferred, or reassigned.

9Message Delivery

Message delivery is subject to your wireless carrier’s network availability and is not guaranteed. Messages may be delayed, blocked, or undelivered due to circumstances outside EternaTrust’s control.

Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

The SMS program may not be available through every mobile carrier, telephone number, device, or service plan.

10No Emergency or Sole Notice Service

The EternaTrust SMS program is not an emergency notification service. Do not use text messaging to report an emergency or request urgent assistance.

You should not rely exclusively on SMS messages for information concerning your insurance policy, premium obligations, coverage status, or payment requirements. You remain responsible for reviewing your policy documents and maintaining your required premium payments. For urgent or time-sensitive assistance, contact EternaTrust directly using the customer-service information above.

11Program Availability and Termination

EternaTrust may suspend, modify, or terminate the SMS program or an individual’s participation when reasonably necessary for legal, regulatory, compliance, security, technical, or operational reasons.

EternaTrust may also discontinue messages to a number that appears invalid, inactive, reassigned, unable to receive messages, or associated with repeated delivery failures.

12Changes to These Terms

EternaTrust may update these Terms and Conditions periodically. Updated terms will be posted on our website with a revised effective date.

Material changes affecting the SMS program may also be communicated through an appropriate customer-service channel.
